The Catalan Pyrenees are the land of snow and winter sports. Sixteen ski and mountain resorts offer trails and slopes for all types of visitors.

From west to east in the Catalan Pyrenean range, Alpine ski resorts offer their visitors ample skiable areas with varying levels of difficulty and steepness depending on the skier’s skill. And as for international competitions at the highest level, La Molina and Baqueira Beret are home to facilities designed for hosting large events. Thanks to the specialisation of the skiable domains you can enjoy different modalities of winter sports, such as Alpine skiing, Nordic skiing or snowboarding.

Adaptive Sport

Accessible and inclusive sport

Catalonia is a leading destination for accessible tourism in the state of Spain, with more than 1,100 tourist sites that have facilities for people with disabilities, reduced mobility and special needs.

To foster equality, inclusion and accessibility in sport, many towns and cities with athletic facilities have worked in recent years to eliminate architectural and communication barriers to make it easier for people with some disability to practice their favourite sport.
