The itinerary starts at Bagà and circles the park from the south-west, via Tuixent and Fórnols de Cadí, until reaching La Seu d’Urgell, the capital of Alt Urgell County. From there, it continues along the northern edge of the park into Cerdanya County, via Estana and Alp, before going over Coll de Pal and back to Bagà.
