The route starts at Puigcerdà, crosses Berguedà County via La Pobla de Lillet and on to Falgars sanctuary. From there it continues to Borredà, up to the village of Sagàs, and along the banks of Merlès Stream until reaching Sant Pau de Pinós.

In Bages County, the route passes Sant Fruitós de Bages with the magnificent monastic site of Sant Benet, circles Manresa following the banks of the River Llobregat, and continues on to Sant Vicenç de Castellet at the foot of Montserrat Mountains.
