This spectacular place is well worth a visit, especially in periods of snowmelt or after heavy rainfall.

The forces of nature drive the springs at the river source to tumble down in profuse cascades from the escarpments surrounding Castellar de n’Hug.

Beyond the springs, there is a snack bar with wooden picnic tables on the right-hand side, and an old flourmill converted into a hydroelectric power station on the left-hand side.

Access by car is possible, but it is more advisable to walk along the marked trail leading from Castellar de n’Hug. Information on the flora and fauna in the area is available along the way.
