Peralada castle

The former castle-palace of the Counts of Peralada, now used as a casino, contains other major features such as the convent of El Carme, with a cloister and a Gothic church now housing the Castle Museum, which contains the private collection of the Suqué-Mateu family. The tour includes the library, the Wine Museum, the Glass Museum, and the church and cloister of El Carme.

Opening hours:

  • FROM 1 SEPTEMBER TO 30 JUNE

    Opening hours: Mornings: 10 am, 11 am and 12 pm.
    Afternoons: 3.30 pm, 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
    Sundays and public holidays: mornings only. Closed all day on Mondays.

  • FROM 1 JULY TO 30 AUGUST

    Opening hours: Mornings: 10 am, 11 am and 12 pm.
    Afternoons: 4 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm and 7 pm.
    Sundays and public holidays: mornings only. Closed all day on Mondays.
    CLOSED: 24 and 31 December (afternoon), 25 and 26 December, and 1 and 6 January.

  • Museum admission: €11
  • Reduced Museum admission (for pensioners and students with valid accreditation): €7
  • Children under 10 and ICOM members: free admission.
  • Park admission: €11
  • Reduced Park admission (for pensioners and students with valid accreditation): €7
  • Children under 10 and ICOM members: free admission.
  • Museum + Park admission: €18

  • Guided visits only, lasting 55 minutes.
  • Tickets can be purchased online or at the Museum ticket office.
  • Advance booking is compulsory for groups of more than 10 people. In this case, the group leader must make a single payment in cash.
