The Cement Train
The Cement Train (Tren del Ciment) is a railway line that historically linked the old Asland cement factory in Castellar de n’Hug to Guardiola de Berguedà, from where the narrow-gauge railway provided connections to Berga and Manresa.
With a history stretching back more than 100 years, this vintage railway and its diesel locomotive take visitors on a 3.5-kilometre journey that lasts around 20 minutes. The train has four carriages, each of which holds 25 passengers.
The Tren del Ciment has a new car park with 75 spaces for vehicles and two bus spaces located at La Pobla de Lillet station, where users can access it directly without having to cross the B-402 road, where the old parking space was.
Stops with tourist attractions
The Tren del Ciment stops at four stations: La Pobla de Lillet, La Pobla Centre, Jardins Artigas and Museu del Ciment-Castellar de n’Hug. At each station, passengers can get out and discover new tourist attractions.
