The items were retrieved from the waters of Escales reservoir and ceded to the museum by private individuals.

The collection is currently housed in the former church of the Assumption, known as the Old Church, in El Pont de Suert. The pieces contained in this cultural and artistic legacy are classified into three main groups: painting, altarpieces, and precious metalwork.

Guided tours around El Pont de Suert and the Sacred Art Collection are available by appointment at the Tourist Office.
