The Pyrenean recipe
The inhabitants of the Pyrenees have preserved a traditional deep-rooted culture that can be found in their gastronomy as well as the varied popular festivals. The falles, La Patum and its rich heritage are a good example of this, both of which have been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. The architectural heritage is notable thanks to the set of Romanesque churches in the Vall de Boí, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is followed by a long list of museums that inform you about traditions and ways of life which impregnate the Catalan Pyrenees with authenticity.
